An update from W&D Finance and congratulations Bill McGregor

Bill’s career spanned seven decades and includes many achievements. Some highlights include:  

• Establishing Webster Investments Ltd (The W in W&D) in 1966

• Bill was at the helm when Webster Investments Ltd merged with Dolilta Investment Ltd to form W&D Finance in 2007. He was appointed director and joint chairman with the late Geoff Cunningham in 2007 and served as a director until 2023.

• Bill has been an active member of his local community for decades. While being heavily involved in Ballarat Apex Club, Bill was part of the committee that started Sovereign Hill, for his active contribution, he was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

• Bill was awarded a fellowship at Federation University in 2005.

• Bill was Director of Sandhurst Trustees, a subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

Bill says, “I have been gratified by the merger of the two companies and have admired the way Phil Cunningham has managed the growth of the company ever since”.

We wish Bill and Rosie all the best in retirement and thank him for his leadership, guidance and the invaluable contribution he has made to W&D Finance.
