W&D Finance stalwart retires after nearly 17 years

Webster Dolilta Finance Limited’s Investments and Loans Manager, Phil Pellissier will retire on his 65th birthday, the 29 January 2016 after nearly 17 years with the company.

Phil started with W&D Finance (then Dolilta Investments Limited) in October 1998 after many years as a bank manager with the ANZ Banking Group. His experience in banking and finance spans more than 45 years.

He was employed after Dolilta Investments Ltd purchased a number of Co-operative Housing Societies. During this time he managed the companies government funded Home Opportunity Loans and Shared Home Ownership loan schemes.

Phil brought invaluable experience in home & commercial lending and customer relations when he joined the Company. His ability to give sound financial advice, along with his methodical and diligent approach proved to be a great asset to W&D Finance when it moved more into commercial lending.

Phil will continue to be a member of the W&D Finance loans committee.

Along with forging many close working relationships over the years at W&D Finance, in particular the two ‘Phil’s’ have enjoyed sharing common interests around sport – including cricket, football and horse racing.

Phil was heavily involved in local sport for many years, and is now a sedate spectator who enjoys watching and supporting Waubra Football Club and Mt Clear Cricket Club where he is a member after many years involvement at Committee level.

Once Phil has hung up the boots on 29 January, he is most looking forward to spending more time with his grandchildren Cooper and Sophia.

Phil, we thank you for your many years of friendship & your valuable contribution to WD Finance.
